She was born in the winter three
           years ago
During a storm as the ground was
           covered with snow
We both waited so very long
For this miracle to grace our home
And we named her "Angel"
Cause we felt God sent her from
           his throne

And for awhile
She was our light, our love, our joy
But she grew sick and became as
          fragile
As a little glass crystal toy
And it was spring around our farm
God came and held her in his arms
I guess he needed one more angel
Cause he came and led my baby home
